Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day
You shore of crimson, green, and gold,
You woodland bracing for the cold,
You calling crows and raucous jays,
You crystal water where I float
And drink the honey of my days,
You wondrous earth, you life and love,
You wondrous gift — to live, to be,
You gift of years now flown away,
You memories which stay, which stay,
I sing to you as you to me,
Each day is my thanksgiving day.
